ADEC promotes the rights of people of non-english speaking backgrounds with disabilities.ADEC aims to link ethnic communities and mainstream agencies more effectively, to provide information to ethnic communities and help develop advocacy skills, to develop an information base from which policy proposals can be provided on culturally relevant programs for ethnic consumers, to act as an advocate on behalf of ethnic consumers.
